The location is excellent, just a stone's throw from the main shopping street and opposite a pretty square.
While the staff were pleasant, despite being busy, they did not provide an efficient service. Just how long is too long to wait at Reception when you want to book in? How long is too long to wait to get back your room key (which is too big and heavy to walk around with) when you have popped out to the shop for 15 minutes? How long is too long to wait for the staff to bring you the hairdryer you've requested (and didn't arrive until I went down to reception for it). In the morning there was, once again, only one woman on duty to check guests out. She seemed also to be responsible for serving breakfast. With half an hour spare, I didn't feel it would be sufficient time for breakfast! If there were more staff working in this hotel, I didn't see them. The one person I saw had a good manner and tried to be efficient but she couldn't be in more than one place at a time.

I stayed for two nights with my family while exploring the local attractions like the Michael Collins House, which was just across the street. The room was ideal for our needs, featuring two twin beds for the kids and an area that felt like its own room. I really appreciated the little extras, like the in-room coffee machine and the pitcher of water. Everything felt updated yet maintained a historic charm, and the restaurant on site served a nice breakfast.

Clean place with lovely views and great location close to centre of the town. Exceptionally comfortable beds, central heating, coffee/tea making facilities and multi-channel television in the room. A huge variety of well presented options for meal.

Staff are excellent and very friendly. The food was also fantastic.
The rooms need to be completely updated and modernised. No hairdryer in the room. Mirror and sink so low you'd develop a back problem from using them!!

Charming ambiance in a cozy setting.
The room felt stifling without air conditioning, and there was no refrigerator to keep my drinks cool, uncomfortable during the warm days. The bed consisted of two singles pushed together. Hearing other guests through the thin walls was quite distracting, and the limited TV channels offered little entertainment .

Location and convenience. Friendly staff and nice cozy hotel.
Room needed a few repairs done such as painting and grouting broken bathroom tile. Some of the tv stations were missing and need to be retuned (E.G. Irish channels on Saorview).

Amazing place with great wi-fi, a bar/lounge area, and in-room breakfast. The friendly staff even helped me find a local taxi on my first stay. I recommend trying their breakfast-it's good! I'm returning for a city trip.

Noise from teenagers leaving the hotel nightclub at 2am.

friendly and accommodating staff, easy access to the town, clean and tidy, car parking facilities outside
I think the hotel was over priced for what was on offer, hotel facilities were basic
